If you’ve enjoyed “TED Talks” online, you’ll find the local, in-person event to be a transformative experience thanks to the immersive day with plenty of opportunities to discuss the talks with other thoughtful audience members and the speakers themselves.
97 local, regional, and international experts including scientists, artists, educators, technology innovators, musicians, social scientists, leading medical practitioners and pioneer manufacturing visionaries, and many others have all graced the stage at The Grand Oshkosh during TEDxOshkosh events since 2016, and 2024 brings another collection of thought-provoking, inspirationally-presented ideas.
Included:
- A full day (morning through mid-afternoon) of thought-provoking content
- Nearly a dozen inspirational live talks; a small number of specially-selected TED talk videos; and one palate-cleansing performance
- Plentiful breaks to think about and discuss the talks: mid-morning, lunchtime, early afternoon
- Food, and plenty of it: breakfast beverage and snacks; mid-morning snacks; a hot, catered lunch; early afternoon snacks
- A “swag bag” full of rewards and souvenirs
- A post-event reception with the speakers for those who register for VIP seating
